Bari has a lot to offer, says Fuli

Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli says new find Verenaisi Bari brims with talent and has worked hard to earn her spot for the upcoming HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in Langford, Canada.

The Savusavu lass is the only new player included in the travelling squad to Canada.

“Bari is a very young and talented player,” Fuli told FijiLive.

“She was one of the few players we identified in 2019 and she deserved to be in our squad.”

The Olympic Games bronze medal winning coach said Bari being one of the new players drafted from club level, they had worked her through a solid program to ensure she was ready to represent on the international stage.

“We have developed her physically and mentally from that platform of playing club rugby straight into the international setup, and occupying her mind and her physical wellbeing of the high performance setup.”

Fuli added they looked forward to seeing Bari and all the remaining players perform well over the two day tournament.
