Ilimeleki Dawai has travelled to Fiji from New Zealand to watch his son, Mosese who is named in the Highlanders reserves for their Round 11 Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua.

"I am so happy with his journey and commitment," Nawai told FijiLive exclusively.

"We went over to New Zealand when he was still a toddler and to see him come play in Fiji infront of a large home crowd is very emotional."

The elder from Nakorotubu Village in Ra said he was also happy that Fiji had a team competing in the southern hemisphere's top competition.

"It is.a big move and big step for Fiji Rugby.

"They are doing well in their first year?, still a little things to iron out, but the future looks great."
