Fiji progresses to Toulouse 7s final

Fiji will meet Ireland in the Cup final of  the Toulouse 7s in France after beating Samoa 28-7 in the semifinals this morning.

Tries from Captain Tevita Daugunu and Pilipo Bukayaro gave Fiji a 14-0 halftime lead.

Samoa scored through Owen Feto early in the second half and threatened the Fijians, but a double from Vuiviwa Naduvalo sealed the win for Fiji.

Ireland on the other hand, proved too strong for host France in the first semifinal and walked away with a 24-7 win.

The Cup final will kick off at 4.26am.
