Fiji wins Toulouse 7s

Fiji won the Toulouse 7s title in France this morning after beating Ireland 29-17 in a pulsating final.

Captain Tevita Daugunu scored the first try which was successfully converted by Napolioni Bolaca as Fiji took early control.

 Ireland, one of the most improved and consistent teams in the Series this season scored two back to back tries through speedsters Jordon Conray and Terry Kennedy to grab a 12-7 lead.

Olympic gold medalist Bolaca used his individual brilliance to score Fiji's second try just before the break.

He also successfully converted for a 14-12 lead at halftime.

The Fijians looked more organised and focused in the second half and three tries in succession to forwards Josua Vakurunabili, Elia Canakaivata  and Kaminieli Rasaku sealed victory for the Ben Gollings coached side although Ireland responded with a try through Conray.
