Fijiana 7s ready to shine in Langford

Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli says the team is in good stead and ready for their return to the World Rugby Sevens Series at the Langford 7s despite a tough pool.

This will be the Fijiana’s first tournament since Dubai last year.

“It is a pool of death,” Fuli said.

“We are with the US who won a tournament in Spain, the entertaining and young English team as well as New Zealand who finally return after being hit hard by COVID-19.

“It is a challenging week but we have prepared well and done our homework.”

“It is a tough pool but it is good to be back.”

Fijiana and USA will play first, at 4.30am on Sunday morning in the opening game of the tournament at the Starlight Stadium.

Fijiana will then play England in their second game at at 07.56am before meeting the Black Ferns 7s in their last pool game at 10.38am on Sunday.
