Fijiana Drua end Tahs winning streak

Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua ended the Waratahs four year unbeaten run in Super W with a thundering 29-10 win at Cbus Super Stadium on Friday.

The Fijians sped off to a 17-5 lead with tries from Vitalina Naikoro, Kolora Lomani and Timaima Ravisa while flyhalf Merewalesi Rokouono added one conversion.

Waratahs managed to get points off a loose ball from Fijiana hands with Lori Cramer finishing off wonderful support play to dive in the corner but was unable to convert her own try.

The Drua were reduced to 14 players early in the second half but this made little difference as they continued to dominate play and got their bonus point try through hardworking centre Raijieli Laqeretabua.

The Waratahs scored an unconverted try through Layne Morgan in the final quarter but it was lanky Sereima Leweniqila who had the last say scoring Fijiana's fifth try.
