Fijiana wins bronze in Toulouse 7s

Fiji claimed the third spot in Toulouse 7s this morning after beating Ireland 26-10 in the bronze medal playoff.

Raijieli Daveua and Aloesi Nakoci's first half tries and successful conversions from Lavenia Cavuru gave Fijiana a 14-0 lead at halftime.

Sesenieli Donu got the third try for Fiji straight after the break.

Ireland staged a strong comeback and scored back to back tries through Vicki Kinlan and Stacey Flood to keep pressure on Fiji, but another try by Nakoci in the 13th minute sealed the deal for the Saiasi Fuli coached side.
