Matawalu the Drua's comedy king: Chris

The saying; 'If you are good at something, never do it for free,' doesn't work for nippy Fijian Drua scrumhalf Peni Matawalu as he is widely known for his off the field antics in keeping the team entertained - free of charge.
Naitasiri and Swire Shipping sponsored Fijian Drua lock forward Chris Minimbi let the cat out of the bag saying that  Matawalu is their comedy king in the camp.
Minimbi and the Drua are in Suva this week, after being away for six months, based out of Australia for the Super Rugby Pacific campaign.
"There are always good times and challenging times but you know Peni is always there doing funny things to make us laugh," Minimbi said.
"Sometimes the game is on our side and sometimes when it's not then the situation is tense in the camp but Peni creates jokes to make fun but at the same time trying to get the boys together."
"Some of the funniest moments I recall of Peni is him doing Zumba in the swimming pool and also him always trying to speak to the boys in Hindi and singing Hindi songs mixing it up with Tongan and English songs."
"It's always fun to have him around because he is very encouraging and keeps motivating the boys to train hard and give their best in every match."
Fijian Drua will play the Highlanders at 4.35 pm at the ANZ Stadium in Suva on Saturday.
