Nadroga to meet Nasinu after 4 years

Nadroga is gearing up for a Digicel Premier League battle against Nasinu after four years.

The two sides will clash in Round 8 of the competition at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Sunday.

Coach Archie Watkins said the two teams last met in the Senior Division and they are expecting tough competition from the giant killers.

"It's not long since we will meet Nasinu again."

"They were a tough team in the Senior Division back then and we anticipate a tough team again on our first meet in DPL."

"Nadroga is taking each game at a time as we approach to more points in the league. We know playing Nasinu will be different but I believe both teams will come prepared."

While the Stallions are going as underdogs on Sunday, Watkins said they are eying for a win and is confident that players will give their best.

"We have been training throughout and the players have been focusing a lot especially on our weak areas."

"Discipline is something we want to have against Nasinu. We want to avoid conceding cards because that puts the team morale down."

"It's also a challenge for the boys to lift up their performance and I'm sure they will make use of the 90 minutes we have. We will try to go for a win and earn the three points," he added.

Nadroga will play Nasinu at midday.
