Saifiti's try not enough for Knights

Fiji Bati prop Jacob Saifiti scored a try in Newcastle Knights 36-16 loss to the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 9 of the NRL yesterday.
Tom Dearden scored the opening try of the match for the Cowboys and Valentine Holmes converted but minutes later the Knights gave a quick response through Dominic Young but the conversion failed.
The Cowboys continued to maintain their lead after their second try from Kyle Feldt and Holmes converted but the Knights displayed their eye catching rugby when a Kayln Ponga grubber was directed to Saifiti who dived right under the post just before Chris Randall added their third try while Ponga converted both for a 16-12 lead at the break.
Some unforced errors by the Knights saw them give the game away to brave Cowboys who scored four unanswered tries through Murray Taulagi, Valentine Holmes, Jeremiah Nanai, Heilum Luki and Holmes booted all conversion successfully to secure the victory.
