Valetini and Brumbies continue to shine

Brumbies loose man Rob Valetini, who has links to Fiji,  put in another impressive effort over the weekend helping his side beat the Chiefs 38-28 during their Super Rugby clash at GIO Stadium.

The win against the chiefs was their third win against a New Zealand team this season after already beating the Highlanders 28-17 and the Hurricanes 42-25.

If there was a favourite for an MVP from the Australian sides this season, Rob Valetini has to be up there, if not the front-runner.

The tiresome ball hunter broke through the Chiefs defence in the 70th minute of play to setup a try for Billy Pollard and secure the win.

The 23 year old back row stood out throughout the contest with powerful carries added with impressive speed.

Valetini has scored four tries for the Brumbies this season and has proved all season why Wallabies coach Dave Rennie included him in his training squad for 2022 earlier this season.
