Vularika rejoins MRL champions

Former Fijian Drua utility back Serupepeli Vularika is off to brighter shores and will rejoin his former club and defending Major Rugby League champions the LA Glitinis.

The Naqarani villager from Rewa province flies out of the country tomorrow.

Speaking exclusively to FijiLive, his father and namesake Serupepeli Vularika said they were excited for the opportunity and the doors that have opened for his son.

“We always knew and believed that when one door would close another would open, and that Seru’s sacrifice has not gone unpaid,” Vularika senior said.

“We know that he will bring a lot back and more to the LA Glitinis, as he has all the other teams he played for, because he is a fighter and passionate rugby player.”

The LA Glitinis club contains big names such as the likes of former Wallabies Matt Giteau, Adam Ashley Cooper, Stephen Hoiles former All Blacks players Orene A’I and former Springbok Daniel Tailliferre Hauman van der Merwe to name a few.
