Youngsters have proved their worth: Gollings

Fiji 7s Coach Ben Gollings says young players have proved their worth to force themselves into the 14-member team to Singapore and Vancouver 7s.

Gollings said a lot of players with less experience have really stepped up over the past few weeks which has been great for the team.

The debutants include Tira Wilagi, Filipo Bukayaro, Josevani Soro and Vuiviawa Naduvalo.

For Gollings, Singapore will be extra special being his first HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series at the helm of the Fiji 7s team.

“Great opportunity it being the first time we will be able to play on the World Series this year.”

The Singapore 7s is scheduled for the 9th and 10th of April with the Vancouver 7s following the 17th and 18th.
