21-year-old Api Bavadra, who shares links to Fiji has been named in England's core team for the Toulouse and London 7s.

Bavadra first appeared for England at the 2019 Paris 7s.

Coached by experienced Tony Roques, the side will feature the return of Tom Emery and Hayden Hyde, while Alex Davis captains the side.

Roques said the side is really looking forward to this weekend’s tournament in Toulouse and to be back on the World Series.

He said there have been some really tough selection calls and is pleased with the balance of the team and really excited to see how they go.

Drawn in Pool A, England men take on Canada, Japan and Argentina on Friday and Saturday.
