Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori is all set to open and welcome spectators after 16 months.
Special Administrator for Nausori and Nasinu Umakant Patel said both Pavilion A and B were badly damaged during the 2020 Tropical Cyclone Yasa which led to the closure of the ground.
Patel said a few weeks ago the council had opened the ground for local football and rugby matches but no spectators were allowed.
However, he said from tomorrow spectators will be allowed to witness the games with the Skipper Cup match between Tailevu and Namosi.
Patel added the town council invested $200,000 in repairing Pavilion A while the government has provided a grant worth $350,000 to repair Pavilion B.
Both pavilions in Ratu Cakobau Park can sit up to 9000 spectators
