Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Head Coach Mick Byrne says the franchise will sign a few new players for the 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season.
Byrne said the coaches will assess the performance of the current players and then look towards new signings.
"Yeah, they'll be obviously. We’ll continue to look for new signings."
"Like every super rugby team at the end of the season, we’ll assess the squad and, and look for signings and we're in the process of doing that now with three games to go."
"The coaches are assessing our squad and we're working towards looking at what we're where the gaps will be."
He added that those players who have not received game time yet have started to understand the game at the Super Rugby level.
"Some of our players out of the year have sort of a fair way behind the standard that is needed for Super Rugby and it's taken them half a year to get to that sort of at least get to a standard they're only really starting to show us what to do."
"But yeah, I think there's some players who have shown enough for us so we’re going ahead with them and investing more time in them for sure."
Meanwhile, the Drua will play the Moana Pasifika at 4.35pm at the CommBank Stadium, Parramatta, NSW on Saturday.
