Fiji FA launches dev curriculum

The Fiji Football Association launched its first-ever football development curriculum 'Totolo Futupolo-the Fiji Way' written by Fiji FA Technical Director Timo Jankowski at their headquarters in Suva today. 

 

Association President Rajesh Patel said having the curriculum available for all kids across the nation is a key part of Fiji Football Association’s strategic plan to make football the biggest and most popular game in Fiji. 

 

Digicel National football Head Coach Flemming Serritslev said the book will assist in the football talent development in the country. 

 

Jankowski added that seeing the passion for football shown by the young players in Fiji motivated him and the Fiji FA administrators to develop the curriculum.

 

"The curriculum is written not only for the development of football at the grassroots level but also for development of football, futsal and beach soccer coaches. 

 

It will enable the upcoming footballers to learn about each step of football as played by professions locally and internationally and display that on the pitch."
