Fiji FACT format to bring out fireworks:Ali

Navua Football Club coach Saiyad Ali said this year’s Digicel Fiji FACT format would bring out more fireworks from all sides.

Compared to previous tournaments spread over three days, this year’s Fiji FACT tournament will run a course of near on two weeks.

“It should minimise to a level fatigue with all the teams, so we can expect more exciting football,” Ali told FijiLive.

Ali said not only fatigue, the format allowed coaches as well to do more work.

“Coaches can analyse opponents, as well as prepare their game plans.

“In the past, teams have to dig deep physically day after day, now we will have a very exciting outcome and it will be upto how teams come in prepared.”

Navua is in Pool A with Nadi, Lautoka, Rewa and Labasa.

The first round begins on May 22 at the ANZ Stadium in Suva before moving to Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka for the second round.
