Flemming disappointed with reps

Digicel national football Head Coach Flemming Serritslev is not happy with the discipline and performance of a few of the national team reps.

In an interview with FijiLive, Serritslev said he is disappointed with the performance of Lautoka defender Antonio Tuivuna, who received a direct red card in the Digicel Premier League match against Ba.

He added there are few other players who have not brought in changes in their performance after the return of the national team from the World Cup Qualifiers in Qatar.

"I'm really disappointed with some of the national players who have been receiving cards on the field."

"Their performance has gone really bad and that's something that can affect their career as well."

"I mean looking at Antonio now he has missed two league games and missing those games means he has missed a lot of things."

"There are other players like Afraz Ali, Rahul Naresh and Lekima where I have seen no improvements in their football. That’s really upsetting."

"It's upsetting because these boys had the exposure from Qatar and yet they remain where they were. They need to show us a new level of football because they are young and still have a lot to prove."
