Olympic Games gold medalist Semi Kunatani says it took dedication and hard work to return to the international stage which propelled his rugby career. After five years off the scene, the Naveyago in Nadroga Navosa native returns to his natural hunting ground, the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. Being one of the more experienced players his inclusion will help jel the new breed of Fiji 7s players. "We need to work together, and ensure we do everything as a team," Kunatani told FijiLive. "There are allot of young players, but I know they will give their all for the white jersey. "It is exciting to be playing 7s again. Coach Ben Gollings added that Kunatani would add a needed balance to the side.
“Semi is good for experience and has been working very hard to get this opportunity. He is great around the players and provides good leadership” said Gollings. By Noa Biudole
