Kikau's try help Panthers big win

Fiji Bati forwards Viliame Kikau scored a try in Penrith Panthers 32-6 win over the Melbourne Storm in round 10 of the NRL yesterday.

A combination between Nathan Cleary and Isaah Yeo combined to put centre Izack Tago over with an inside ball in the sixth minute and Cleary converted for 6-nil lead.

Minutes later, Kikau soared above Marion Seve to latch onto a Cleary cross-field kick to score in the 10th minute and Cleary converted again.

Star five-eighth Cameron Munster managed to get the Storm’s back in the game in the 18th minute after his cross-field kick was caught by an unmarked Nick Meaney to score and he converted for 6 points.

The Panthers gave an immediate response through Tago who scored his second try and Cleary converted and also slotted a penalty for a 20-6 lead at half time.

Some unforced changes in second half to the Panthers saw them score two unanswered tries through Jarome Luai and Stephen Crichton and Cleary booted both conversions.
