Fiji Bati hooker Apisai Koroisau scored a try in Penrith Panthers 32-12 win over the Sydney Roosters in Round 11 of the NRL yesterday.
Both the teams tussled hard and it was half back Jarome Luai, who broke the deadlock for the Panthers back to back while Nathan Cleary converted both for a 12-0 lead.
The Roosters tried to make a comeback but the Panthers struck a big blow in the shadows of half-time when Api Koroisau scored from dummy half and Cleary converted for a 18-0 lead at halftime.
The Panthers continued their mind-full game and Stephen Crichton extended the sides lead with a try while Cleary converted but this time the Roosters responded with a try from James Tedesco and Sam Walker converted.
Some unforced errors by the Roosters gave the advantage lead to the Panthers through James Fisher-Harris and Cleary booted the conversion and also slotted the penalty goal to further their winning lead.
The Roosters came from behind and Paul Momirovski scored the second try for the Roosters while Walker converted to end the match.
