National striker Sairusi Nalaubu scored a brace of goals as defending champions Lautoka demolished Nadroga 5-1 in Round 9 of the Digicel Premier League at Sigatoka's Lawaqa Park today.
Sharp midfielder Sitiveni Cavuilagi saw an unsettled Nadroga and scored the opener of the match in less than 20 seconds of the first minute.
Nadroga tried to get back in the match several times but they could not go past the strong Lautoka defence.
The Blues made a quick change with youngster Gulam Razool replacing Junior Dekedeke in the 36th minute.
Minutes later, lanky striker Nalaubu displayed his excellent footwork and scored the second goal of the match for a 2-0 lead at half time.
Nadroga came in fighting hard in the second stanza but several errors hindered them from scoring as Amani Makoe received a good scoring chance but he missed it.
Lautoka made some changes with Sterling Vasconcelos replacing Wilson Doedoke while James Pillay replaced Emmanuel Prakash.
Natabua College star Gulam Razool pulled the third goal for the Blues just before another youngster Aporosa Yada netted the fourth goal of the match.
In the additional minute, Nalaubu begged his second goal while Amani Makoe finally scored one for Nadroga.
