Natoga scores winner in Silktails second win

Winger Osea Natoga scored the winning try for the Kaiviti Silktails to register their second consecutive win beating the Wentworthville Magpies by 28-22 in Round 5 of Ron Massey Cup yesterday.
The Silktails drew the first blood through winger Viliame Tutuvuli finishing up back to back tries after some heads up play from his side while halfback Mosese Qionimacawa converted.
Errors from the Fijians allowed the Magpies to attack through Rhys Armstrong touching down the try line between the posts and Clayton Faulalo converted.
After a hard tussle, an explosive Timoci Bola broke through the Magpies’ line to set up centre Ratu Temesia Jilivecevece to score under the posts and Qionimacawa’s conversion saw the Silktails go into the half-time break leading 16-6.
The Magpies came firing in the second stanza with Nicholas Walker and Joel Luani scoring back-to-back tries to level the game at 16-all.
The Silktails regained the lead through Rusiate Baleitamavua, who barged his way over the line but the Magpies made a comeback through fullback Austin Quast showcasing some good rugby league footy.
But the Silktails proved strong as Timoci Bola's kick was beautifully caught by Osea Natoga who sprinted the rest of the field to secure the victory while Qionimacawa booted the conversion.
