Fiji-born All Blacks winger Sevu Reece will play his 50th Super Rugby Pacific match for the Crusaders when they take on the Brumbies in Round 13 on Friday.
The former Queen Victoria School student moved to New Zealand in 2014 and attended Hamilton Boys' High School where he played first 15s rugby.
After making his successful debut for Waikato in the 2016 Mitre 10 Cup, Reece was called up to the Crusaders squad as a cover for injured Israel Dagg and Manasa Mataele and later booked his name in the 39 member All Blacks team to prepare for the Rugby Championship and the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Last year, Reece played a crucial role scoring a try in the final that saw the Crusaders lift the 2021 Super Rugby Aotearoa season title five times in a row.
Meanwhile, another Fijian and All Black George Bower will also feature for the side at loosehead prop while Captain Scott Barrett and Vice-Captain Codie Taylor return to the starting.
The Crusaders vs Brumbies match kicks off at 9:45pm.
Crusaders lineup: George Bower, Codie Taylor, Fletcher Newell, Scott Barrett (c), Sam Whitelock, Pablo Matera, Ethan Blackadder, Cullen Grace, Bryn Hall, Richie Mo'unga, George Bridge, David Havili, Jack Goodhue, Sevu Reece, Will Jordan.
Reserves: Ricky Jackson, Finlay Brewis, Tamaiti Williams, Liam Hallam-Eames, Tom Christie, Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi, Braydon Ennor, Leicester Faninga'anuku.
