Silktails register third consecutive win

The Kaiviti Silktails have registered their third straight win after beating RMC Western Suburbs Magpies by 34-12 in round 3 of the Ron Massey Cup in Australia yesterday.

 

Silktails had an early start in the match as Watisoni Waqanisaravi dotted the opening converted try of the match in the second minute and the Magpies were quick with their response throughRydge Smith while Nautu’a Masima converted to equalise at 6-all.

 

The Silktails fought back and broke the lock with a try from Waqanisaravi pulling his second try and Sunia Naruma added an additional try and he converted once.

 

But it was Smith again who tried to bring the Magpies back in the match with a converted try yet the Silktails led by 16-12 at half time.

 

The Fijians came in firing in the second stanza scoring unanswered three tries through start Osea Natoga, fullback Timoci Bola and Apakuki Tavodi added the third converted try to seal the win.
