Skipper Cup champions weary of Rewa

Suva team manager Nemani Tuifagalele said they were weary of taking on Rewa in their back yard this weekend.

The Skipper Cup defending champions travel to Burebasaga this week after beating a determined Nadroga 21-18 at the ANZ Stadium over the weekend.

“We have to dig deep this weekend especially against a team like Rewa,” Tuifagalele said.

“As seen throughout the competition, every game has been difficult not just for us but across the board.”

Tuifagalele said they were eager to notch more wins as they look to fight their way back to secure a playoff spot.

“It has been a hard season, and we are beginning to get back in the fight, and the next few rounds will definitely be very important for us.”

Rewa will be eager to make amends this week coming off a 37-15 loss against Nadi at Prince Charles Park last week.

Suva will take on Rewa at Burebasaga District School this Saturday.
