Tuwai back in camp: Gollings

Fiji 7s talisman Jerry Tuwai has recovered from his illness and rejoined the Fiji 7s camp.

Tuwai who was tested earlier this week as per procedure for COVID-19, has returned negative results and rejoined the Fiji 7s camp.

Tuwai caught a bug, last week and was isolated away from the main camp as a safety precaution to ensure players would not be infected.

"He is obviously a priority, and keeping him out was just so we keep everybody healthy," coach Ben Golling had said on his earlier isolation.

Meanwhile, other players that have yet to join the Fiji 7s full training sessions include Waisea Nacuqu who was injured in the last World Rugby Sevens Series leg in Canada.

"Wise came off in Vancouver, we are just guarding him and making sure he gets back to full fitness.

"There is no need in testing him, we know what he can do and making sure he is 100 per cent when we go away."
