Fiji beats Oceania 7s champs

The Fiji 7s team finished the 2022 Oceania 7s in Auckland on a high note, beating host and eventual winners New Zealand 12-5.

The result stopped an unblemished run for the Kiwis who were unbeaten prior to the last match of the tournament.

Fiji managed two tries through strong man Elia Canakaivata and speed king Vuiviawa Naduvalo with Kaminieli Rasaku adding one conversion.

Che Clark scored New Zealand's lone try.

Fiji finished the tournament third with three wins and three losses.
