Fiji suffers second loss in Oceania 7s

The Fiji 7s side suffered its second defeat in the 2022 Oceania 7s in Auckland today after going down 19-5 to hosts New Zealand.

The Ben Gollings coached side led 5-0 at halftime courtesy of a Aminiasi Tuimaba try.

The Kiwis lifted their game in the second half and scored tries through veteran Scott Curry, Rhodes Featherstone and Akuila Rokolisoa notching a try and adding two conversions.

Fiji has a win and two losses and will play Australia Selection in its next match at 5.24pm.
