Fijiana ends campaign with a win

Fijiana's win-less run in the Oceania 7s finally ended this evening when the Rusila Nagasau captained side defeated New Zealand Pango 20-10 in the last match of the tournament in Auckland.

The Olympic bronze medalists outscored the hosts four tries to two.

Fiji rushed off to a 15-0 lead at halftime with a try from Ivamere Nabura and a brace from Ana Roqica.
 
Kalyn Takitimu-Cook and Manaia Nuku got two back in the second half for the Black Ferns before Ana Naimasi sealed the win for Fiji.
 
The Saiasi Fuli coached side lost 31-14 to Australian Selection this morning and also lost their previous 4 matches in the tournament.
