FSSRL quarters ready for Tavua

The Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League National Quarterfinals are ready to kick off in Tavua this weekend.

The final four teams from their respective Under 19, Under 17 and Under 15 grades will be decided after the top teams in the South Eastern Zone and Western Zone meet in the first crossover after two years.

“We are anticipating an explosive clash with the top teams from around the country to meet over the weekend,” said league president Naisa Cama.

South East giants, the Nasinu Secondary School Panthers, Queen Victoria School Knights and the Ratu Kadavulevu School Eels continue to show dominance advancing all their grade teams to the quarterfinals.

The Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute from the west also showed their calibre by sending also qualifying all their grade teams.

The quarterfinals kick off at 9.05 am at both Garvey Park and Tavua College ground on Saturday.
