Kamikamica scores opener in Storm win

Fiji Bati prop Tui Kamikamica scored the opening try in Melbourne Storm's 32-20 win over the Brisbane Broncos in Round 15 of NRL on Friday.

Storm opened the scoring in the eighth minute after Kamikamica, who was a late inclusion in the starting side, crashed over from close range and Nick Meaney converted for a 6-0 lead.

The Broncos were late in their response through Corey Coates begging twice while Kotoni Staggs converted once.

Tyrone Roberts, who was playing his first NRL match for more than two years, laid a try for winger Selwyn Cobbo in the 27th minute and Staggs converted.

The Storm's returned with a big bang through Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughe which Nick Meaney converted to level things at 16-all.

Some unforced errors saw the Broncos losing possession which the Storm took advantage of and scored three back-to-back tries through Dean Ieremia pulling a brace and Hughes grabbed his double while Meaney converted twice.

The Broncos had the last say through Ezra Mam in the 77th minute but Staggs conversion failed.
