Koroisau focuses on getting basics right

Fiji Bati and New South Wales Blues hooker Apisai Koroisau is not overthinking his role and is focused on getting the basics right.

The 29-year-old from Saunaka Village in Nadi, is named in the starting 13 for Game II of the State of Origin against the Queensland Maroons tomorrow.

“Starting the game, a lot of it has to do with trying to get our sets and working to points on the field,” Koroisau told nrl.com.

“I just have to make sure I am doing my job for the team and bringing that energy.”

This will be Koroisau's second appearance at Origin level with already one try to his record.

The Blues lost their first match 14-10.

Origin 2  kicks off at Optus Stadium in Perth at 9.50pm.
