Milne dots in Rabbitohs win

Fiji Bati centre Taane Milne scored a try for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in their 30-16 win over  the Gold Coast Titans in Round 14 of the NRL in the weekend.

Rabbitohs made a quick start in the game through impressive flyer Alex Johnston in the 6th minute and Kodi Nikorima converted but the Titans gave an immediate response from Greg Marzhew but his conversion failed.

Titans poor ball handling and backline left a chance open for Rabbitohs to capitalise through Jaxson Paulo and Nikorima's conversion gave them a 12-4 lead at halftime.

An early mistake by Titans saw Johnston take advantage of penalty play and he ran for his second try while Nikorima booted the conversion.

It was in the 48th minute when Captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui brought the Titans back in the game with a try and this time Jamayne Isaako converted to cut down the margin to 10-18.

A beautiful set up pass from Paulo was without hesitantly taken by Milne and he ran the 173m to pin down the ball before Johnston scored his hat trick for the side and Nikorima converted both.

In the last few minutes of the game, Fa'asuamaleaui scored his second try and Isaako added the consolation conversion.
