Nadro to tame Naitasiri in Lawaqa

Nadroga Rugby team manager Sikeli Basiyalo says they are eager to get one back against Naitasiri when the Skipper Cup sides clash this weekend.

The Coral Coast giants said they are not banking on their laurels despite a 24-10 win over Tailevu last weekend, and have reset to face the giants from the highlands.

Playing Naitasiri is never easy and they are a very strong side as they have shown in this competition this year,” Basiyalo said.

“We came off a good win last week, but with it came a lot of work ons that we have addressed.

Nadroga lost to Naitasiri 29-27 in their first meeting of the year, which was also the Inkk Farebrother Trophy Challenge at Naluwai ground.

“The task won’t be easy, but if we keep our mistakes to a small percentage we can ensure we give ourselves the best chance we can.”

Nadroga hosts Naitasiri at Lawaqa Park at 3pm this Saturday.

In other Saturday games, Rewa hosts Namosi at Burebasaga District School ground, Nadi faces Northland at Gatward Park in Korovou and Tailevu takes on the defending champions Suva at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
