Selection door still open, says Cotter

Flying Fijians coach Vern Cotter says it is not the end of the road for players who missed out on selection for the Pacific Nations Cup.

Cotter alluded to calls from the general public and star names being left out of the 34-memeber strong squad.

Players not considered for selection due to injuries and rehabilitation are Semi Radradra, Peceli Yato, Viliame Mata, Meli Derenalagi, Kitione Salawa, Vilive Miramira, Samu Tawake and Peni Ravai.

"You can look at alot of players that missed out, and know we will keep an eye out on everybody and the door will always be open to people that are performing well and that have the right behaviors around performance," Cotter told FijiLive.

Cotter added while some olds were rested it was time the upcoming players were given the nod.

"It is good to try out the young boys too."
