Drua reps to lead charge against Aust A

Vodafone Flying Fijians Coach Vern Cotter says Fijian Drua players will make a lot of impact in their big Pacific Nations Cup clash against Australia A in Lautoka tomorrow.

Cotter said Super Rugby experience gained by the players will set the platform for the hosts.

“For the boys that have played Super Rugby Pacific this year, they know what Australian teams are like, they are competitive, they never go away and I think we just have to step up,” Cotter said.

Cotter said they have put the win against Tonga behind them and need to build.

"Our key theme for this week is making sure we get better, we build on good things from last week and take away stuff that we feel didn’t help us.”

Cotter said the local crowd should expect a polished performance from the team as they are looking to do better in set-piece play and display well structured rugby for full 80 minutes at Churchill Park.

The Flying Fijians vs Australia A match kicks off at 3.30pm.
