Hurting Aussies will be dangerous: Cotter

Vodafone Flying Fijians Coach Vern Cotter believes Australia A will be out to prove a point and will not be taken lightly.

Cotter said the side consists of players vying for a spot in the Wallabies squad towards next year’s Rugby World Cup.

“There will be players that are out to prove they deserve to be in the series that is playing against England at the moment,” Cotter.

“So they have come here with that mindset.”

Cotter said the task didn’t get any easier with the second string Wallabies one down already in the Pacific Nations Cup.

“We all know that a team coming back from a loss is very determined to put things right so we’ll find that they will lift their game.”

Fiji hosts Australia A at 3.30pm tomorrow in Lautoka.
