Star striker Nasau rejoins Ba women

Labasa women’s football coach Arthur Simmons has confirmed that national striker Cema Nasau has returned to her former district Ba for the 2023 football season.

In an exclusive interview with FijiLive, Simmons said Nasau had made her intention to rejoin Ba in December last year.

Simmons also revealed that two other players Luisa Simmons and Mereoni Tora have also joined Ba in the current player transfer window.

While wishing the three players the best of luck, Simmons said their departure will not affect the team despite the women’s Pillay Garments Champions vs Champions just three weeks away.

He said there are quality players in the team who can fill in for these players.

Digicel Women’s Super League champions Labasa will face Women’s IDC Champs Ba in the one-legged CVC on the 12 of February at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
