Tarakinikini appointed Acting Permanent Rep

Retired Colonel Filipo Tarakinikini is Fiji’s Acting Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.

He replaces Dr Satyendra Prasad.

The former RFMF spokesperson has been working with the United Nations for more than 20 years after resigning from the military.

He will act in the position until the post is advertised and a selection is made by the Government.
