Tavua undefeated in senior league

Tavua football has surged to the top of the Digicel Fiji Senior League Viti Levu Zone standings, maintaining an unbeaten record after five matches.

The Gold Miners solidified their lead by defeating Rakiraki 3-1 last weekend, bringing their total to 15 points.

In other league action, Northland Tailevu secured a 1-1 draw against second-place Lami, which added complexity to the standings.

Lami holds the second spot with seven points from five games, while Rakiraki, with three points from four matches is in third place.

Northland Tailevu, also after playing four matches sits at the bottom with one point.
