Tentative tournament venues set

Fiji Football Association has set tentative venues for the major tournaments of the 2023 season.

Chief executive Mohammed Yusuf said the first major tournament, the Digicel Fiji FACT will be played in June this year as the OFC Champions League qualifiers will take place in May.

He said they are looking to host the tournament at Suva’s HFC Bank Stadium.

The Battle of the Giants (BOG) is earmarked to be played at Prince Charles Park in Nadi in August.

The Inter-District Championship (IDC) venue would either be Govind Park in Ba or Lautoka’s Churchill Park.

Suva won the 2022 Fiji FACT and the IDC while Labasa clinched the Battle of the Giants.
