Tikoduadua calls on Qiliho to resign

Home Affairs Minister, Pio Tikoduadua has invited the Commissioner of Police, Brigadier-General, Sitiveni Qiliho to resign, citing concerns on matters of confidence.

In a Twitter post this afternoon, Tikoduadua said Qiliho prefers the process goes through the Constitutional Offices Commission.

“I respect that, and we will let the law take its course.”

Fijilive has sent queries to the Police Commissioner, Sitiveni Qiliho. We are still awaiting his response.

It’s unclear at this moment whether Commissioner Qiliho will step aside whilst the process with the Constitutional Offices Commission takes place.
