WAF welcomes Tuisawau

The Minister for Public Works, Ro Filipe Tuisawau, has praised the hard-working staff of the Water Authority of Fiji for their continued support.

Yesterday, the Water Authority of Fiji National Office, traditionally welcomed the newly appointed Minister and provided an overview of the current work and plans of the organisation.

Tuisawau thanked the Management Board and the Chief Executive for updating him on the challenges and reassured them that he intends to work closely with them as a facilitator.

The WAF Chief Executive, Dr Amit Chanan says the Authority stands ready to work with Tuisawau and share his vision to improve water services for all Fijians.

Dr Chanan said the Minister’s passion is to advance Fiji’s water supply and sanitation services to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals targets.
