Waranivalu seals win over sturdy Navua

Rewa snatched a late victory with a 1-0 win over Navua, thanks to a 90th-minute goal by Tevita Waranivalu at the Uprising Sports Center.

Despite being one of Fiji’s top teams and set to represent the nation in the OFC Men’s Champions League,  The Delta Tigers faced a tough challenge against Navua.

Throughout the match, Navua displayed exceptional defensive skill and tactical acumen, holding Rewa at bay and threatening to end the game in a stalemate.

Both teams had their share of opportunities, but it was the persistence and experience of Rewa that finally broke through in the dying moments of the game.

Waranivalu emerged as the hero for Rewa, finding the back of the net in the 90th minute ensuring a hard-fought victory for his team.
