Cabinet has approved a ‘Whole of Government’ approach towards implementing the Sustainable Development Agenda.
In a statement, Prime Minister and Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Sitiveni Rabuka said that his ministry will play a significant role in supporting the Ministry of Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics, in coordinating the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Rabuka said Fiji presented its 2nd Voluntary National Review (VNR) Report on the implementation of the SDGs in 2023 – With a structured mechanism in place to monitor and track SDG implementation across Fiji including within and outside Government, Fiji will be able to make accurate decisions on socio-economic and development issues.
