Maisamoa named Impact Player in Cape Town

Fiji 7s utility player Manueli Maisamoa pulled off an impressive performance to claim the DHL Impact Player title at the Cape Town 7s.

Maisamoa topped the charts with 76 points accumulating eight tackles, eight clean breaks, 11 offloads and 22 carries over the three-day tournament.

Australia’s Dietrich Roache took second spot with All Blacks 7s playmaker and fellow Fijian Akuila Rokolisoa in third.

David Still of the USA and Paulin Riva of France finished fourth and fifth respectively.

Joseva Talacolo was named the DHL Impact Player last weekend in Dubai.
