Playmaker Filipe Sauturaga flew out of the country today to join the Fiji 7s team ahead of this weekend’s Los Angeles 7s.
He replaces utility back Kaminieli Rasaku who is out injured.
Rasaku picked up an ankle injury in Vancouver 7s and after assessment by team medics, he has been ruled out of this weekend.
Sauturaga’s inclusion will add more depth and experience to the team as he is a reliable kicker and can easily slot in at playmaker or halfback.
