Ali anticipates balanced competition in FACT

Navua Head Coach Saiyad Ali says the 2024 Digicel Fiji FACT will be a balanced tournament with each team presenting its own challenge.

“In my opinion, both pools are even,” Ali stated.

He pointed out that while Navua has had a strong record against teams in Pool A this season, having defeated all except for a draw against Lautoka, Pool B presents its own challenges.

Ali said Rewa is currently in form and are the favorites, while Labasa will have massive crowd support as Fiji FACT is hosted on their home soil.

However, he spoke about Navua’s recent performances saying  they have been consistent and other teams should not take them for granted.

“From the last four tournaments, Navua has improved a lot and have been consistent, Navua is also a very highly competitive team, so that will make this upcoming tournament an interesting one,” Ali added.
